Osteopathy
Your osteopath takes into account your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing to optimise your bodily functions. The treatment aims to enhance joint mobility, alleviate muscle tension, and improve blood and nerve supply to tissues.
To achieve this, we work on the sympathetic nervous system, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and skeletal joints, utilising various techniques tailored to your age, diagnosis, medical history, and individual needs.
Our motto, "Find it, fix it, and leave it alone," implies that we strive to provide lasting improvements so that you can maintain good health without ongoing treatment. However, some patients may require periodic visits throughout the year due to the repetitive nature of modern life, such as occupational, postural, or sports-related activities.

Understanding your health.
At our clinic, we believe in taking a thorough approach to understanding your health. We understand that every individual is unique and requires personalized attention. Our osteopaths take the time to listen to your concerns and ask questions about your current issue, medical history, lifestyle, and daily routines to determine the best course of treatment.
We believe that a holistic approach is necessary for achieving optimal health, and therefore, we also inquire about your diet, exercise regimen, and stress levels. These factors can provide clues to help us diagnose and treat your condition.
During the osteopathic examination, we perform orthopedic tests such as checking your reflexes and taking your blood pressure. We also assess your posture and movement patterns to determine the range and quality of motion you have. Palpation is also used to identify areas of sensitivity or tightness, which helps us diagnose your condition and develop an effective treatment plan.
We ensure that our patients are comfortable throughout the examination and that informed consent is obtained before proceeding with any treatment.
Our goal is to keep you fully informed during the entire treatment process so that you understand what we are doing and why. We may occasionally refer you to your GP or another specialist if we feel that osteopathy is not appropriate for your condition.
At our clinic, your health is our top priority, and we strive to provide the highest level of care to help you achieve optimal health and wellness.
